Introducing new systems into a business can often feel like a pretty overwhelming prospect; requiring some extra dedication and time that you may feel you just don’t have. At Rotaready, you’ll be assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager from the get-go, to ensure the onboarding and roll-out process is a smooth and hassle-free experience.
A major part of this is training your management team. Giving them the knowledge they need to jump straight into Rotaready and immediately start reaping the benefits available to them. We understand it can sometimes be a task in itself finding a time that all of your management team are available for a training session with your Success Manager, or the right time to train new managers. So, to combat this, we’ve brought in our very own eLearning platform.
What is eLearning?
The eLearning portal has been designed to cover all areas of Rotaready that would be included in a usual training session. But instead, it’s a mixture of walkthrough videos, training documents & quizzes that can be accessed at any time by staff members of your choice. You’ll be pleased to know that the eLearning platform is included in your usual package. So you can get going as soon you’re ready, with no extra cost!
Who is eLearning for?
The portal covers the main modules of Rotaready that we’d expect management users to have access to – staff, rotas, attendance and reports. There are 3 main categories of staff members that we’d recommend take advantage of completing the course:
- Managers who couldn’t make the original training sessions
- Managers who joined the business after the original training sessions took place
- Managers who need to bring themselves up to speed after being away from the business for a period of time e.g. those returning from long-term leave
How does it work?
Once you’ve been invited to the portal, you’ll be given access to a number of courses. They’ll be assigned to you in the order we’d expect you to use Rotaready when you first get started. We’ll take you through getting logged in, the staff module, and what you’ll be needing to do before, during and after each week. You’ll also gain full access to all of the feature spotlight sessions that have taken place so far.
Each course is broken down into a number of modules. These come in the format of either a walkthrough video or a training document for you to read through. At the end of each course, you’ll be presented with a quiz to assess what you’ve learnt so far. You’ll be scored, but don’t worry – you can always go back and try again!
How do I gain access?
It’s simple – to get access for yourself or other staff members, you’ll just need to provide your Customer Success Manager with the names of the staff members you want to have access and they’ll send out instructions via email.
