Itison
Itison is a group of beautiful and eclectic venues based in Glasgow. Starting out with its first site in 2007 the hospitality business now consists of 7 venues across the city.
Until recently, Itison was using a combination of spreadsheets and a software solution to build rotas and control costs. But the use of spreadsheets was time consuming and left a lot of room for error. Furthermore their software lacked flexibility and the HR functionalities the business required.
A single solution for multiple challenges
So, in 2021 the Itison team decided to set about their search for a solution that could help them with the challenges they were facing. The initial requirements were based around HR, focussing on the likes of secure, cloud based storage for employee documentation and a way of easily issuing contracts.
But as the search progressed, the team realised there were solutions out there that could help them with far more than their initial set of challenges; such as inefficient rota building and attendance tracking. So the search transformed into one for an end to end workforce management solution.

Effortless implementation
From making the decision to go with Rotaready, it took roughly three weeks to get all sites up and running. Efficiency being another of Itison's requirements for its chosen workforce management partner.
We had a number of criteria for our chosen solution, but ultimately we were looking for flexibility, price and the speed of getting it up and running. Rotaready ticked all three boxes.
Implementing Rotaready was very very easy. We got a lot of support from Rotaready themselves which was great. And to be honest it's a very user friendly system so it's easy to pick up on a lot of things. Our team finds it very straightforward to use.
