This month we caught up with one of the newest members of the Rotaready team, Customer Support Advisor, Fiona 👋🏻. Here’s what she likes most about her role, why a roast dinner will always be her number one meal, and how she was put off KitKat’s for life…
What do you like most about your job?
The people – my colleagues and our customers! Since starting at Rotaready I was instantly made to feel part of the family, and that’s not easy to find. There’s also such a perfect balance between working hard, but also having a laugh – our team nights out are the best! I also love building relationships and chatting with our customers, there’s nothing better than seeing the little 🤩 emoji rating after a great interaction.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years’ time?
I grew up on the Isle of Wight & then lived in Dorset so I’ll always be a country girl at heart. In 20 years, I’d love to be living somewhere by the coast (maybe in Cornwall) with some chickens, dogs, and my family.
What is your dream holiday destination?
I would have to say Western Australia! I’ve been there twice but it’s just one of those places I know I could return to 100 times, and I would fall in love with it all over again! I’m talking white sand beaches, crystal blue water, an abundance of wildlife and constant sun. Need I say more…
What’s your favourite meal?
Roast dinner always! I will never be bored of crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire’s and gravy.
What are you most likely to be found doing at the weekend?
Socialising with friends, evenings in sharing a bottle of red with my boyfriend, walks to the park, baking sweet treats, binge watching crime documentaries, playing sims 4 for hours on end… The list is endless!
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Mine would 100% be teleportation! Imagine being able to get yourself to the other side of the world in just a few seconds… I did a nonstop 24-hour flight back from Australia during covid-19 which has scarred me for life. All they gave us to eat was KitKat’s – Now I can’t look at them the same!
What’s your best joke?
I think the question should be ‘What’s your worst joke?’ but here goes… When’s the best time to go to the dentist? Tooth hurty.
